Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS), one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of electronic office equipment has rolled out Tesseract's On-Line REA to manage its coast-to-coast service operations. The REA module enables 900 Toshiba technicians to work on-line with their PDA's. According to Denise O'donnell, vice president of IT at TABS, "Tesseract's Service Centre was chosen because of its ability to effectivley manage meter business and integrate seamlessly with our Oracle accounts. Tesseract's Service Centre has also provided (TABS) with a more effective call allocation and distribution system, improving the management of their spares and efficiency of invoicing".

Meanwhile in Oslo, Elopak are one of the world's largest manufacturers of non-carbonated liquid food packaging systems have implemented the Tesseract On-Offline REA option to manage its customer service operations in 17 countries across Europe. With over 200 users, Tesseract is the master database for Elopak filling machines installed around the world, not only Europe. "As the software is able to store and present complete call histories, whenever an engineers arrives on-site he is fully armed with all the information required about both the equipment and the customer".
