The Service Management Expo is Europe’s only annual event dedicated to the field service market, attracting field service managers and new delegates of many industry sectors from across the world.
Birmingham’s NEC once again provided the setting for the SME 2008, however, this year’s show saw a number of innovations that combined to further extend the overall success of the show for Tesseract’s Service Management Software. Chief among these was the co-location alongside the UK’s largest and most important for call centre and customer management solution – Call Centre Expo and Customer Management Expo. The co- location of all three events resulted in a successful two days for Tesseract as the exhibition stand attracted a steady flow of quality, high calibre visitors.
The co-location with two other relevant shows provided Tesseract’s sales team with additional visitors that otherwise may not have been attracted and a significant number of high quality sales leads.
With over 2000 visitors, an 18% increase on last year, the SME 2008 featured over 100 exhibiting companies offering products and services designed to support every area of the field service delivery making this the perfect opportunity for Tesseract’s skilled and dedicated sales team to give demonstrations of their Service Management Software to potential and existing customers on a fantastic exhibition stand.
Overall, the show was very successful. The co- location with two other large scale shows meant that there were an increase in Tesseract stand visitors on last year. As a result of this, Tesseract have already confirmed exhibition space for the Service Management Expo 2009 and are looking forward to another successful year at the biggest Service Management event in Europe.

The SME exhibition has expanded significantly over recent years enjoying 30% growth by attracting many new exhibitors from emerging technology sectors in which service operators are investing.
