Due to our continuing business growth we have the following vacancies at our head office in High Wycombe Buckinghamshire.
Vacancy:
Software Tester
Duties to include:-
- Contribute to the entire software development life cycle from initial business requirements to deployment & Production support.
- Design & implement test scenarios.
- Create & implement test plans and test scripts.
- Maintain up to date Automated Testing Scripts using automated testing software.
- Ensure QoS (Quality of Service) levels of software products through performance test benchmarking.
- Assist in implementation of QA standards and continual improvement activities.
- Create and/or modify technical documentation for new enhancements.
- Reporting of testing failures and successes should be generated on a daily basis and presented to Customer Support and Development Managers.

Responsibilities
-
The software tester will need to have deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the system development life cycle, initially he/she will need to work with all other departments to gain good understanding of the products. This knowledge and experience will be used to design & maintain test plans, scenarios, and scripts for Regression Testing, Functional Integration Testing, Performance Testing and Stress/Load Testing.

The position is based at our head office in High Wycombe, but travel to locations throughout the UK will be required.

Occasional short periods away from home or overseas may also be required.

As company policy, Tesseract prefers to recruit candidates that are local to our UK head office.
As a rough guide, anything within a 45-minute commute is acceptable. -
Applicants should have some formal qualification in this area.
