2009 Tesseract User Group Report
Unfortunately, some customer representatives failed to attend due to the closure of the M40, however, for those who managed to make it to Donington Park, the day was a fantastic success for all those involved.
Matthew Darby first gave a brief introduction to the meeting and went on to present a Support Update which detailed the progress of the improvement program and the new Customer Portal.
The Portal was the highlight of the presentaion and Matthew was keen to point out the benefits this will bring to all supported users.
Colin Brown was next up to provide a very entertaining presentation on the new features of Service Centre 5 and the availability and ease of upgrading.
A half hour break for refreshments was then followed by a TomTom Work presentation. Firstly highlighting the benefits of their own user-friendly navigation tools, then going on to emphasize the benefits integrating with SC5 will have for Tesseract users with engineers out on the road.
Simon Berrisford of KPS demonstrated the integrated Knowledge Base Solution with SC5, to show how customers will be able to search through the database and stored documents for answers to questions relating to products in Service Centre.
Colin Brown and Graham Hilton also gave Workshop presentations on the New Diary and REA. These were all welcomed developments and all very well attended.
Many thanks to all of you who took time out from your busy schedules and braved the traffic to join us for our 2009 TUG Meeting.
Kind regards
Colin Brown
